Gabriele Turola (Ferrara b. 1945 –  d. 2019)

He attended the Classic High School and the Art Institute “Dosso Dossi” in Ferrara. Due to his father, he met De Chirico, Morandi, Annigoni, Guidi, Saetti and Carlo Levi. From the half of the Sixties he lived in the mountains, having an ancestral relationship with the trees, the animals, the stones, the streams, he studied the Nature’s secrets, feeling its spirituality and its magic force. After spending a lot of years there, he came back to Ferrara, starting to paint the mystery of humankind through the representation of tales, myths and dreams, adopting the use of bright colours. In 1992 he published his poems’ book “La Voce delle Cose” (The Voice of the Things).

In 1993 he began to exhibit at Galleria Toselli in Milan.

From 2004 the relationship with Galleria Biasutti & Biasutti began.
