Giuliana Ponti: CV

After graduating in scenography at the Accademia Albertina in Turin, she gained thirty years of experience as an artistic consultant in socio-educational activities in schools and in socio-therapeutic centers. His commitment as a ceramics teacher in the juvenile prison of the Ferrante Aporti Institute in Turin is significant, in training activities for teachers and social cooperatives. Since 2009 he has been responsible for the setting up of the Parco d’Arte Vivente (PAV) exhibitions in Turin. Giuliana Ponti's artistic career comes from a careful observation of the elements of nature, a visceral relationship with the earth, with matter. His creatures, the "stones", speak of hands that work the earth, that shape, that create, that metaphorically unite many "lands" coming from different places. Through these works nature takes possession of the artist, of her essence, as she herself writes, describing her work: "I enter the body of the Great Mother to be reborn."
