OPENING: Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 6 pm Galleria Biasutti & Biasutti is pleased to present the exhibition “Andrea Nisbet. 89–99 Fabbriche Macchine / 26 Vasi a.” Accompanied by a text by Marco Filippa, the exhibition brings together three series from the artist’s work: the factories and machines, created between 1989 and 1999, and the more recent series of vasi a (vases to), produced in 2026 and dedicated to artists of the past. From the cycle of factories, begun in 1989—where Andrea Nisbet addresses themes of time and processes of transformation—the exhibition moves to the machines series, developed starting in the 1990s, in which the artist explores the Promethean gap between humans and machines, raising questions in the viewer about the future. Bringing the exhibition to a close is the most recent series dedicated to vases: sinuous forms and vibrant colors which, elevated on wooden columns, evoke and reinterpret the memory of art history, in an ideal homage to Medardo Rosso, J. M. W. Turner, and Rembrandt van Rijn. | |||||||||||
