Maurizio Rosati. E qualcosa rimane. Paesaggi urbani 1975 - 1983

OPENING: 15 September 2018 6 p.m.

15-29 September 2018

Biasutti & Biasutti Gallery presents an exhibition dedicated to Maurizio Rosati (born in Turin, Italy in 1946), a photo reporter, as Giorgio Levi defines him in the presentation of the show. Twenty black and white photos illustrate the city of Turin, between the half of the Seventies and the beginning of the Eighties, describing the most known places, as the old Lingotto Station, or i Murazzi, and other less recognizable, because of the changes of time. This show lets us observe Turin with a sense of nostalgia and as Levi adds “during that era of terrorist outrages, we had in front of us a city that we cannot see and maybe understand”.
The exposition has a charity purpose, it will support the Fondazione La Stampa – Specchio dei tempi, which helps people with hardships, since 70 years, rebuilding schools destroyed by earthquakes, restoring emergency rooms and hospitals, in Turin and in the poorest countries of the world, supporting the cancer research, and financing children health and educational projects.
