Biasutti & Biasutti Gallery opens the new space with an exhibition dedicated to the Corrente movement. Curated by Rolando Bellini, the show includes both historical and more recent works, paintings and sculptures, belonging to that young artists’ group who, between 1938 and 1943, gather around the Corrente magazine, to defend their freedom of expression. The Group worked out new formal researches, in a clear opposition to the “official” painting, typical of the Fascism regime.
