OPENING: Tuesday 13th march 2018 at 6 p.m. 13 march - 28 april 2018 Biasutti & Biasutti Gallery is proud to present a solo exhibition dedicated to Gianfranco Baruchello (Livorno 1924). This show includes a group of works spanning through the half of the 1960s to the half of the 1990s. As Luca Beatrice writes in the text's catalogue: "Baruchello is a complex, well-structured, intellectual and multiform artist. His work wears the critic's activity out, pinned down by an inexhaustible variety of references, allusions, and, especially by a frenetic activity starting in the Sixties until nowadays. He is a militant, not only for the short but intense change through the political climate of the 1968, but also for the necessity of being a key player in a cultural debate, which, during that decade, saw art constantly in connection to "other" languages: the word, the writing, the experimental cinema, the television, the mass media".
