Corrado Bonomi, Piero Gilardi, Marco Lodola. Natura Seconda

Corrado Bonomi, Rosa, 2003, Materiali vari, 60 cm

OPENING:  7 October 2004 6 p.m.

From 7 October  to 6 November 2004

The theme shared by the exhibition, curated by Guido Curto, is that of artifice, of nature, paying particular attention to the materials used for the realization of the works on display. Gilardi presents a series of nature carpets whose subjects refer to exotic themes, from Bamboo with orchids and hibiscus to Banana palm, Canopy with papaje, White beach and Green beach. Lodola uses plastic by combining it with light, neon lights, which create luminous sculptures that represent Pin-ups, Dancers, Skaters up to objects such as, for example, motorboat. Bonomi faces a path of a conceptual nature aimed at analyzing language. His poetics is an uninhibited artistic freedom, good at assembling the most diverse materials, giving life to Roses, Lakes with water lilies and particular Arcimboldi.
