MARCO LODOLA. Plastiche e luminose

OPENING:  4 March 2003 6 p.m.

From 4 March to 19 April 2003

Biasutti & Biasutti Gallery presents an exhibition dedicated to the artist Marco Lodola (Dorno 1955). The exhibition consists of about twenty works including suggestive luminous sculptures, works in perspex and enamels, preparatory drawings that characterize the recent experience of Lodola, trained in the Academies of Fine Arts in Florence and Milan. With his works, he has also collaborated with the writer Aldo Busi and the musicians Jovanotti, Timoria and Max Pezzali. For this occasion you can see the typical and stylized figures of dancers, guitarists, dancing couples, ball players caught in action and pin-up girls. These are images resolved with bright colors, red, yellow, green, and illuminated by neon light, in a sort of fascinating reinterpretation of the world of young people. Text in the catalogue by Giuseppe Biasutti.

Catalogue available.
